An accomplished civil engineer and real estate professional with experience as a supervisor, a developer, and an educator, Pedram Salajegheh, MS has excelled as the managing manager at Zahra Investments Ltd. since 2016. A natural leader within the Ohio-based company, which owns, develops, and manages commercial and residential properties throughout the Tristate area, he oversees multimillion-dollar designs and renovations, maximizes customer service, and consistently implements enthusiasm, structure, and proven systems to repeat and maintain success. Attributing his success to hard work and guidance from several mentors, Mr. Salejegheh strives to expand the company internationally, treat each staff member and employee as his own family, and help to improve their lives.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Salajegheh—who was born and raised in Iran and immigrated to the United States in 2009—rose through the ranks at Shahraz Consulting Engineering, where he lent his expertise as a supervisor and project manager from 2008 to 2010 and Chairman of the board of directors from 2010 to 2013. He previously found success as an assistant supervisor at Pirraz Consulting Planners from 2007 to 2008 and launched his career as a project analyzer engineer at Fazaraz Consulting Engineering from 2005 to 2006. In addition, he has been an associate professor of engineering. Upon reflection on his career, Mr. Salajegheh has been particularly proud of his work on a landmark property in 2018, a power plant structure built in Dayton in the 1940s.
A dedicated civil engineer across all engineering operations, Mr. Salajegheh developed a passion for the field through his father, himself a civil engineer. He ultimately earned a Bachelor of Science in the subject from Islamic Aza University, from which he graduated with honors in 2008; he subsequently obtained a Master of Science in civil engineering in structural design from the Graduate University of Advanced Technology in Kerman, Iran in 2012. While earning his master’s degree, he wrote a dissertation, “Seismic Assessment of RC Building with Different Stiffness Distribution using Multi-Incremental Dynamic Analysis,” conducted extensive research on the subject, and later published a paper on his findings in the International Asian Journal. Mr. Salajegheh also completed coursework in civil engineering management at the University of Dayton in Ohio.
Mr. Salajegheh has been an active member of the Iranian Society of Consulting Engineering and Construction Engineering Organization since 2008 and hopes to be remembered by his peers as involved in their growth and success.
